1. Who we are

Trezow (“we”, “us”) operates the give-away marketplace at trezow.in. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@trezow.in.

2. What we collect

• Account data: your name, email (your login), and an optional phone number if you choose to verify it.
• Listings & activity: the items you post, requests you make, ratings, and messages you send within Trezow.
• Location: approximate coordinates only if you tap “use my location” — used to sort items nearest-first. You can skip this.
• Donation records: if you donate, our payment processor (Razorpay) handles your card/UPI details. We never see or store full payment credentials — only a record that a donation succeeded.
• Technical data: basic device/log information needed to run and secure the service.

3. How we use it

• To run the give-away flow — listings, requests, chat, handover, and ratings.
• To surface trust signals (Verified, Supporter, rating) where decisions happen.
• To keep the community safe — moderation, reports, and blocking.
• To send essential notifications (a request, an accept, a new message) and account emails such as OTPs.

4. What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. Items on Trezow are never sold between users, and neither is your information.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate — for example Razorpay (donations) and email/SMS delivery — and only as needed. Other users see only your public profile: name, avatar, area, rating, and badges.

6. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.

7. Your rights (DPDP)

• Access and review the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data — you can edit your profile any time.
• Request erasure of your account and data.
• Withdraw consent (e.g. remove your phone number or location).

8. Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and only as long as needed after. Passwords are hashed; OTPs are hashed and expire. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9. Children

Trezow is not intended for anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use means you accept the current version. Questions? Contact us.
