The basics

Is everything really free?
Yes. Every item on Trezow is given away for ₹0. Nothing is ever sold between users — asking for money or a swap for an item is not allowed.
How is Trezow free if nobody pays?
Trezow runs on optional donations to the platform (never between users). If you’d like to help keep it free for everyone, you can become a Supporter.
Which cities is Trezow in?
Trezow is India-first and built for hyper-local pickup. You’ll see items nearest to you first — set your city from the location chip in the header.

Giving & getting

How do I give something away?
Tap Share an Item, add a photo, title, category and your area — it takes about 30 seconds. Interested neighbours will send you a request and you choose who receives it.
How do I request an item?
Open any item and tap “Request This Item”. Add a friendly note and your pickup details. The giver reviews requests and picks who it goes to.
What is the 4-digit handover code?
When a giver accepts your request, you get a 4-digit code. At handover, the giver enters it to complete the exchange in one verified step — so a gift can only be marked complete by the two of you.
Can I save items for later?
Yes — tap the heart on any item to save it. Your saved items live under Saved items.

Safety & trust

How do you keep the community safe?
Users can verify their phone, everyone builds a public rating, and you can report or block anyone. Our team reviews reports and can hide items or ban accounts.
Is my address shared with everyone?
No. Your exact location is never exposed — the map only shows an approximate area. A delivery address is shared with the giver only after they accept your request.
How should I meet for a handover?
Prefer a public, well-lit spot, tell a friend where you’re going, and coordinate through in-app chat. See our Community Guidelines for more.

Account & payments

Do I need to verify my phone?
It’s optional but recommended — a Verified badge builds trust and helps your requests get accepted faster.
Are donations refundable?
Donations are voluntary gifts to the platform and generally non-refundable. If you donated by mistake, email us within 7 days — see the Donation & Refund Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your account settings and use “Delete my account”. This anonymises your data, hides your listings and cancels open requests.
